1. General
 

These General Terms and Conditions govern reservations, stays, payments, cancellations, house rules, and the processing of guests’ personal data by the provider Turistična kmetija Visočnik (hereinafter: the Provider). By making a reservation or confirming an offer, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

2. Reservation and conclusion of the agreement
A reservation is confirmed when the guest receives a reservation confirmation (in writing/electronically). The agreement is concluded at the moment the reservation is confirmed by the Provider.

3. Prices, services, taxes and registration fee
All prices are in EUR. The Provider reserves the right to change prices.

3.1 Accommodation and additional services

The accommodation price is defined in the offer or in the valid price list. Additional services and surcharges are charged in accordance with the offer and/or the price list.

3.2 Meals (by prior arrangement)

The Provider offers breakfast and dinner by prior arrangement. Orders must be placed at least 1 day in advance. The Provider prepares breakfast daily. Dinner is available on most days and by prior arrangement.

3.3 Note regarding beverages

If guests bring their own beverages to the farm, an additional charge applies.

3.4 Tourist and promotional tax

The tourist and promotional tax is not included in the accommodation price.

If the tax is stated in the offer/reservation confirmation, it is included in the total amount of the offer (it may be shown separately or included in the final invoice).

Tax amount:

– adults: €2.00 / person / day

– children aged 7–18: €1.00 / person / day

*50% tax exemption for guests who stay in the same accommodation facility continuously for at least six nights (according to the municipal ordinance).

3.5 Registration fee

Registration fee: €2.00 / person / stay

4. Guest check-in and identification
Upon arrival (also in the case of self check-in), guests must register with a valid identification document (ID card or passport). The guest is obliged to provide accurate and complete registration data.

5. Check-out
Upon departure, guests must vacate the accommodation no later than 11:00. Otherwise, an additional day of service will be charged.

6. House rules (basic rules of stay)
For the safety, comfort and peace of guests, the following house rules apply:

1. Quiet hours: after 22:00, complete quiet must be observed in the accommodation.
2. Smoking: smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building.
3. Footwear: guests are encouraged to use slippers; walking in ski boots is not permitted.
4. Inventory and damage: in case of improper use of the inventory, the guest must compensate for any damage.
5. Pets: pets are not allowed.
6. Parking: free of charge and at the guest’s own risk; the Provider is not liable for any damage to vehicles.
7. Children’s playground equipment: use is allowed only under parental supervision and at the user’s own risk.
8. Restricted areas: staying in the barn, machinery shed and granary without staff presence is not permitted.
9. Contact with animals: permitted only when accompanied by staff; any activities (including feeding etc.) are at the guest’s own risk and under mandatory staff supervision.
10. Winter activities (sledding, skiing, etc.): permitted at the guest’s own risk.

7. Reservation cancellation
The following cancellation policy applies:

– up to 14 days before arrival: no cancellation fee

– 14–7 days before arrival: 30% of the total price

– 7–0 days before arrival: 100% of the total price

*If stated otherwise at the time of booking, special cancellation conditions may apply.

8. Privacy policy (GDPR) – processing of personal data
8.1 What data we process

For the purpose of carrying out the reservation, the stay, and meeting legal obligations, we process in particular:

– guests’ identification data (e.g., first name, last name, date of birth, nationality) and the data required for guest registration,

– contact details of the reservation holder (telephone, e-mail),

– stay details (dates, number of persons, ordered services).

8.2 Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data:

– to carry out the reservation and the stay (performance of a contract),

– to comply with legal obligations (guest registration, records, billing),

– to communicate regarding the reservation, self check-in instructions and service delivery,

– for marketing communications purposes (occasional updates about news and offers via e-mail).

8.3 Disclosure of data

We disclose data only when necessary:

– to competent authorities, where required by law.

8.4 Retention period

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing and in accordance with applicable statutory retention periods (records and accounting documentation).

8.5 Rights of the data subject

The individual has the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection. Requests can be sent to info@kmetija-visocnik.com

9. Statement of acceptance of the terms (applies to all persons included in the reservation)
By submitting an enquiry and/or submitting the reservation form, the reservation holder confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy (GDPR), and that all persons included in the reservation fully agree with them.

The reservation holder also confirms that all provided information is accurate and complete, and that upon arrival (including self check-in) identification with a valid ID document (ID card or passport) will be ensured for guest registration.

If the reservation holder provides personal data for other persons included in the reservation, they confirm that they are authorised to provide such data and that all persons included in the reservation have been informed about the purposes of processing, the legal bases and their rights as stated above.

10. Final provisions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. The Provider reserves the right to amend these terms; the version published on the website on the date the reservation is confirmed shall apply.
